After a fruitful summer season, we’re shifting our focus to Central America. Introducing our latest drop, The Untold Story, a bright, balanced, and creamy espresso crafted to bring warmth and a little joy to your everyday morning ritual.
Hailing from a five generation family farm in Copán, western Honduras, The Untold Story is a testament to forward thinking farming and the future of coffee. Developed by Honduras’s national coffee research laboratory, the Parainema variety is uniquely associated with Honduras, prized for its strong resistance to coffee leaf rust while maintaining exceptional cup quality.
Fermented for 90 hours in a controlled environment and then dried on African beds for 15 days, this coffee develops a clean, complex profile that captures the best of its origin.
Bright, balanced, and beautifully creamy, The Untold Story shines as a straight espresso and pairs effortlessly with milk. An easygoing, versatile cup for every kind of morning.
About the Coffee Producer:
Finca Terrerito is more than just a coffee farm; it is a cornerstone of its community. Beyond coffee production, the farm has established a school and a medical clinic that have been serving the local community since 2023. The school offers a fully bilingual, accredited education, allowing students to transfer their credits and continue their studies at higher levels.
Beyond education, Finca Terrerito has also taken steps to improve access to clean water in the nearby town of El Caltatato. For years, families in the town have faced challenges accessing safe drinking water, often having to travel long distances to find a cleaner source. In partnership with the Matiak Foundation, Finca Terrerito helped build a water well and began providing free, clean water to the community in 2024.
At Finca Terrerito, the impact of coffee extends far beyond the farm. Through education, healthcare, and access to clean water, they are helping build a healthier, more resilient community where children have greater opportunities, families can live with greater dignity, and future generations can look forward to a brighter future. Their work is a powerful reminder that the true value of coffee lies not only in what it produces, but also in the lives it helps transform.
